Law enforcement officers live with the knowledge that they might one day make the ultimate sacrifice to save another. Deputies and Detention Officers accept these risks as a routine part of their job.

In a profession known for its inherent dangers and self-sacrifice, eighteen Maricopa County Sheriff’s Deputies and six Detention Officers have been killed in the line of duty since 1922.

They are fallen, but never forgotten.

We remember them and honor them for their courage and self-sacrifice.
