Domestic Violence needs to be handled by appropriate intervention. Orders of Protection or injunctions against harassment may be obtained through all Justice Courts, Municipal Courts and the Maricopa County Superior Courts. MCSO serves orders issued by the Superior Court, while municipal police handle orders issued by the municipal courts. Orders issued by Justice Courts are served by the appropriate Constable. In an emergency any police officer or Deputy Sheriff may serve an OP.
