Beginning Monday, November 3rd, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office will be introducing the new Securus
Video Visitation System. This new system will allow inmate’s friends and family members, for a small fee,
to conduct Remote visits from the comfort of their homes.
The number of Remote visits an inmate may receive will be unlimited, based on time-slot availability, and will be
20 minutes in length.
Each inmate is still eligible to receive one free On-Site visit each week, but there will be several changes
associated with these On-Site visits.
All On-Site regular visits will be conducted by video terminals located at the 4th Avenue Jail and the
Lower Buckeye Jail.
Friends and family members will no longer conduct their visits at the Durango, Estrella, Towers, or Tents Jails.
Visitation hours will be between 9 AM and 5 PM, Sunday thru Saturday. (Last time slot available will be at 4:30 PM)
Each visit session will be 20 minutes.
Most importantly, beginning Sunday November 2nd, all video visits
, whether On-Site
be scheduled 24 hours in advance.
To create an account and schedule your Remote
Legal visitors will continue to be able to conduct face-to-face visits with their clients at the inmate’s assigned jail.
Legal visitors will also have the option to use the new video visitation system to conduct Remote or On-Site
privileged visits with their clients.
On-Site legal video visits for all inmates will be conducted using video terminals located at the 4th Avenue
Jail and Lower Buckeye Jail, regardless of the inmates assigned jail.
Legal visitors wishing to use the video visitation system will be also be required to create an account and schedule
